Admin
Description: Within the admin sections you can control all aspects of the comments on your site. there are 4 main functions within the admin section: moderate, settings, tools, permissions.
1. Site Drop-down: A drop-down list of all the sites you moderate.
2. Moderate: Allows you to take control of your comments with many moderation functions.
3. Settings: Where you can update/change all the settings and services for your forums.
4. Tools: Here you can create widgets for ; popular threads, recent or top commenters, and a combination of the three. There are also guides to reinstall your site or add Feedflare.
5. Permissions: You may add moderators, control your comment access, block and white list users.
Moderate
Comments and Threads
1. Comments: You may view all comments for your site under this option. You can also mark as spam, delete, and edit. Learn more?
2. Threads: You may view all threads for your site under this option. You may also closed threads as well. Learn more?
Admin Search and Tabs
1. Admin Search: You may search your sites comments for; name, email, ip address, and any text within the comment.
2. Newest: The latest comments on your site.
3. Unapproved: Comments awaiting your approval.
4. Spam: Comments that have been marked as spam.
5. Deleted: Comments that have been deleted.
6. Flagged: Comments flagged as possible spam by our system awaiting your approval.
Spam, Delete, and Edit Oh my!
1. Mark Spam: Marking a comment spam will delete and also help teach our spam filters
2. Delete: Here you can delete your comments
3. Edit: You can edit the comment
4. Jump to: "Post" This option will take you to the post where that comment was made.
Settings
This area essentially holds all the data for your sites including; Plugins, appearance tweaks, and categories for your community page.
Website Name, Website URL, and Description are pretty self explanitory.
Language: Disqus translates into 12+ languages. You can choose the language that your comment system will be translated into. If you want to learn about which languages we support, visit here.
